Who we are

Prime Dallas Locksmith is a small, local locksmith team. We are not a national call center that buys leads and farms them out — we operate out of one office on Forest Ln and our technicians drive to you from that area. When you call, you are speaking to someone who knows the Dallas streets.

How we work

Our approach is straightforward. When you call, we ask a few quick questions to understand the job — the lock, the property, the situation, the Dallas address. We then quote a realistic price and an ETA on the phone. A technician drives out, confirms the work and the price on-site, asks for ID or proof of ownership where appropriate, and completes the job. You pay only after we are done.

We don't bait-and-switch on price. If something on-site genuinely changes the job — for example, a lock turns out to be different from what was described on the phone — we tell you about it before we start. Otherwise the price we quoted is the price you pay.

Where we work

Our office sits on Forest Ln in North Dallas. Most of our calls come from Dallas itself, but we routinely take jobs in Lake Highlands, Preston Hollow, University Park, Highland Park, Richardson, Garland, Addison, Plano, Irving, Mesquite, and Carrollton. The more local the address, the faster we can be on-site — but we can almost always send someone the same day.

What we believe about locksmith work

• Quotes are quotes, not bait. If we tell you a price on the phone, that is the price unless the job changes on arrival — and if it does, we tell you before we start.
• ID and authorization matter. We will ask for proof of ownership on lockouts. It protects you, your neighbors, and us.
• "Cheapest" is rarely the right answer. Cheap-quote locksmiths often surprise customers on-site with much higher final bills. We aim for fair, transparent pricing.
• Plain English beats jargon. If we propose a rekey instead of a lock change, we tell you why, in regular language.
